This recipe is super simple, yet impressive. We've used refrigerator crescent dough for the pastry.
Unroll the dough, and keep 2 triangles together forming a rectangle.
Add about a tablespoon of cinnamon & sugar mixture.
Roll up lengthwise.
Roll into the shape of a cinnamon roll. Press flat. Add a spoonful of chopped up apple pie filling.
You can use any flavor pie filling. Cherry, each, blueberry, etc...
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze.
2 T. melted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 T. hot water to thin out. More if needed.
Whisk together and drizzle.
