A sweet and refreshing iced tea with a peach twist!
Ingredients:
5 Tea bags (such as Lipton)
3 Peach Tea Bags
1 3/4 C. Sugar
2 1/2 qts. Water
Instructions:
To a 3 qt. saucepan, add the water and all of the tea bags. Bring to a boil. When the tea begins to boil, turn off the heat. Cover and let rest until it cools to room temperature. Meanwhile, in a large gallon size pitcher, add 4 cups of water and the sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove the tea bags from the saucepan, and add the tea to the sugar water. Stir well. Fill the remaining space with ice. Stir well and serve cold. Store remaining tea in the fridge.
Makes 1 gallon
Note: Add sliced fresh peaches to the top of your pitcher. This will not only add interest, but will give a hint as to what flavor the tea is.
